Privacy

Tensorust is a one-person studio. This page says, in plain words, what tensorust.com and shop.tensorust.com collect, why, and who else sees it. We do not sell your data and we do not run ads.

Who we are

If you subscribe, we keep your email address and the date you signed up, in a private Vercel Blob store. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Contact form

If you use the contact form on tensorust.com, we keep your name, email, message, the page you sent it from, your browser type and a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to stop spam floods). It is stored privately and used to reply to you.

Shop accounts (optional)

If you make an account, we keep your email address and your password as an argon2id hash, never the password itself. We also keep a count of failed sign-ins so we can lock out password guessing. Password resets go through a support ticket with your email address.

Payments

Stripe processes every payment. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. Stripe shares with us your name, email, billing country, what you bought and, if the link had them, utm tags that say where you came from. For services, we also keep the project details you type on the page after paying.

Analytics

tensorust.com uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. shop.tensorust.com does not use analytics.

Cookies

tensorust.com sets no cookies. shop.tensorust.com sets a security cookie on its account and order pages and, only if you sign in, a sign-in cookie. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies under Stripe's policy.

Review invitations

After an order we may send a thank-you email that copies Trustpilot's invitation address. Trustpilot then gets your name, email and an order reference, and may email you one invitation to review us. Trustpilot's privacy policy covers what they do with it.

Who else handles your data

Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting, storage, server logs), Google Workspace (our email) and Trustpilot (review invitations). Each only gets what it needs for that job.

How long we keep it

Order records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Everything else until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed.

Your choices

Email support@tensorust.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. You get a reply within one business day. This applies wherever you live, including the EU, UK and California.

iPhone apps

Each iPhone app has its own privacy page, linked from tensorust.com/apps.
