Did the dog get his pill?

When two or three people look after the pets, the same question comes up every evening. Did anyone give Biscuit his tablet? Did the cat get fed, or is she just pretending? Pawprint puts every pet's meals and medicines on one board that the whole house ticks off, with a name and a time on each tick.

It runs on your computer as a single file. No account, no app store, no monthly fee.

WHAT'S INSIDE: FOUR TOOLS IN ONE

1. The daily checklist

  • A Today board with every meal, medicine, flea and heartworm treatment and supplement, in time order, for every pet
  • Tick it when you give it: your name and the time are saved, so everyone can see it was done
  • Double-dose warning: if someone ticks a dose that was already given, or one that isn't due yet, Pawprint stops them and says who gave it and when
  • Late doses turn red an hour after their time
  • Pill countdown: type how many are left and it tells you how many days that lasts, with a warning before you run out
  • Any schedule: twice a day, every 3 days, weekly, the monthly flea chew, a 10-day course that ends by itself
  • A printable weekly fridge chart with tick boxes and space for initials

2. Vet and vaccines

  • Every vaccine with the date it was given and the date it's due, with overdue and due-soon flags
  • Appointments, past visits, and your vet and emergency vet numbers in one place

3. Weight and health log

  • A weight chart against the target range you set
  • A log for symptoms, food changes, behavior and what the vet said
  • A one-page vet visit summary: current meds with any missed doses, vaccines, what you've noticed since the last visit, and your questions

4. The sitter sheet

  • Type the sitter's name and your dates. Pawprint builds a printed handover: your numbers, the vet, the emergency vet, each pet's food, meds, quirks and health notes, the house notes, and a daily tick list for every day you're away

Who it's for

Families and couples who share the pet jobs, anyone with an older dog or cat on daily medicine, people with several pets, and anyone who leaves their animals with a sitter or a neighbor.

Pawprint is a record keeper. It doesn't give medical advice; your vet sets the doses and the schedule.
